Mixed martial artist, Michael Chandler is currently hands down the shortest fighter in the lightweight division of UFC. But at the same time he is built like a brick outhouse and packs some serious power in his punches. A very scary fighter to face in the octagon - no doubt about it.
About Michael Chandler's Real Height
UFC lists Mr. Chandler at 5'8" but we are sure that he is shorter than that. There is no way that he is just half an inch shorter than Conor McGregor, and an inch shorter than fighters like Dustin Poirier and Khabib Nurmagomedov (both of them are around 5'9").
Mr. Chandler also looked significantly shorter than the six feet tall Dan Hooker at the weigh-in before their fight. All these height comparisons and some others have led us to believe that Mr. Chandler is actually shorter than his official listing - no surprise there since UFC almost always does this.
By the way, Michael Chandler's offseason weight is around 185 lb (84 kg) - which certainly seems a bit too much for a person of his height, but when taking account of his muscularity it seems OK, and he has a reach of 71 inches.
