Legendary singer, songwriter, musician, and poet, Jim Morrison is remembered for his wild personality, poetic lyrics, distinctive voice, unpredictable and erratic performances, and for being one of the most iconic and influential frontmen in rock music history.
By all accounts, Jim Morrison was a bit on the taller side. A documentary on The Doors described Jim Morrison's height s 5-feet-10 inches, which was certainly a bit above average for his time.
But Jim was described as 5-feet-11 inches tall as well -- like in the book "Jim Morrison: Life, Death, Legend," author Stephen Davis mentions Jim's height as 5-feet-11 inches.
After taking a careful look at him, we think it might just be possible that Jim's real height was between these two numbers -- in any case, he looked at least two inches shorter than the tallest member of The Doors Ray Manzarek who was half an inch over six feet.
