American stand-up comedian and actor, David Adkins is known for starring as Coach Walter Oakes in TV series A Different World (1987–1991) and as David Bryan on The Sinbad Show (1993–1994). He has also appeared in films such as That's Adequate (1989), Coneheads (1993), Houseguest (1995), Jingle All the Way (1996), Planes (2013), etc.
About Sinbad's Height
Comedians for some reason are considered to be a short breed. Why? Perhaps because short people look funnier than the taller ones?
Well, Sinbad isn't short, on the opposite, he is tall. He once mentioned his height as 6 feet 5 inches.
We know Sinbad is tall but we suspect he is not this tall. He was only a bit taller than Arnold Schwarzenegger (6'1") Jingle All The Way. A few more height comparisons like with TK Carter (6'1"), have made us convinced that Sinbad's height was closer to 6'4" not 6'5" in his prime.
But Sinbad is not in his prime anymore. Now close to his 70s, Sinbad has lost significant height. He states his knee replacement surgery as the reason.
