Great actor, Heath Ledger is remembered for his fabulous work in movies such as The Patriot (2000), A Knight's Tale (2001), Casanova (2005), and Brokeback Mountain (2005). His performance in his last movie The Dark Knight (2008), brought him universal acclaim and popularity and would have made him a major star had he been alive.
About Heath Ledger's Height
Heath Ledger was the tallest joker in Batman movies.
He was far taller than Joquin Phoenix who is 5'8" and Jack Nicholson who was around 5'9½" in his youth. Heath was even taller than Christian Bale (in The Dark Knight) who is around 6 feet tall.
Solid 6' 1'', he had a bad posture like Joker but he is 6' 1''.
Anyway, Heath once mentioned his height as 6" and other time as 6'1". Here is what he said about his height in Strictly Health Magazine:
Q: You're really tall...did you tower over Mel?
A: I'm 6 feet 1, but he has such a large presence on-screen that you don't notice it. Anyway, I'm 5 inches taller than my real dad.
From what we have seen of Heath, we think he was really around 6'1". He looked around 1.5 inches taller than Jake Gyllenhaal who is around 5'11", and around 3 inches taller than Matt Damon who is just below 5'10".
However because of bad posture as the Joker in The Dark Knight, Heath looked shorter than he really was.
